I had the pleasure of getting a pedicure service by Juanita on 06/13/26 and it was an amazing experience! The shop was so well designed and had a comfortable aesthetically vibe! What I was even more impressed by was the amazing customer service by the owner Tammy! I called on Thursday, 06/12/26 for an appointment and didn’t get a response upon first calling, but what was great is that she took time to call me back the same day, checked the schedule, and was able to get me scheduled the next day given all the new incoming customers! I am definitely happy that I found a fully operated black owned nail salon and will continue to support!! Thanks Tammy and Juanita. ~ Jackie C

After spending days researching nail salons, Deeper Than Designz stood out for their commitment to client comfort, skilled technicians, and affordable pricing. My appointment proved to be exactly that. I recieved a gel mani/pedi from Nikki. She asked me about my needs and catered to them accordingly (I have sensitive nail beds and cuticles). It was truly the most pleasant salon experience of my life. I'm pretty introverted and usually spend my salon visits in silence, but Nikki was such a joy to converse with. The vibes were emaculate and the place was warm and inviting. Perfect for people who don't like crowed salons. The service was thorough, too. I actually felt like she took time not only on my nail prep and gel application, but also on my hand and feet massages. For once, I didn't wince or feel uncomfortable while getting my nails professionally done. I left looking forward to my next visit. ~ Kylia S

I had the most amazing experience at Deeper Than Designz with Nikki! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and pampered. I got both a manicure and pedicure, and Nikki truly went above and beyond — she took her time, paid attention to every little detail, and made sure I was 100% happy with each part of the service. The massage during the pedi was incredible — so relaxing and exactly what I needed. You can really tell she cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. I love coming to the best nail salon in the WEHO - Nashville area. It is conveniently located with free street parking. The staff is amazing, everyone is professional and friendly. They have a high standard for cleanliness and sanitary hygiene care. You will not find a better nail artist in the area. I love getting the freestyle nail designs. Nail Artist Tammy gives 100% creative pieces every time. I never know how she will surprise me. Always impressive!! I been coming to Tammy for a few years now. This was my first time at Deeper Than Designz Nail Studio, and I’m so glad I went! Tammy did my nails and truly took her time to perfect every detail — I’ve never seen such care and precision. Nikki made my first professional manicure/pedicure experience relaxing and very pleasant. I was nervous since they were for a wedding I was in last year (photo with pink nails for reference) but I showed her some inspo pictures and she absolutely delivered above and beyond! Because of how amazing that experience was, I decided to book a last minute appointment to surprise my mom (see blue nails for reference) for her birthday because she also hadn’t been to a nail salon in decades. She couldn’t stop raving about her experience with Leah afterwards and already wants to make time to come back in the future! She said the complimentary wine was a nice touch, too lol The music, vibes, and cleanliness are all on point. Thank you to the owners and all the nail techs for putting so much work and effort into the nail salon experience. If you’re looking for a black women owned nail salon, this is the place to go! No matter who you book with, you won’t be able to stop looking at how amazing your nails look and feel. There’s a reason they are often booked out for weeks in advance. I recently signed up for Tammy’s build a nail class workshop, of course I goofed and got the days mixed up so I missed it. But lucky, the class was recorded so I could go back and watch on my own time! It was amazing! and definitely gave me the clarity I needed to actually start the process of offering my own 1-on-1 nail classes in the near future. Adorable hidden gem tucked in Nashville! The gals working were very kind and helpful, the environment was nice and calming, love the decorations! For someone who can be a little rough with my hands at work with cleaning chemicals and whatnot, the simple manicure I went with was very relaxing and my fingers felt pretty and ready for a wedding when I left! I received a free nail manicure from Shine on my first visit to Deeper Than Designz. Shine was very professional and personable. I was very impressed with her work and look forward to returning soon. The studio was very inviting and nicely decorated. The owner Tammy was very nice and even took the time to find another nail polish color for me. I received the builder gel and a pedicure by Nikki. My who experience was awesome. It was such a relaxing and safe atmosphere. Tamara and Nikki always, ALWAYS take care of my nails (hands & feet) with the best care and gentleness. I was not one to get mani/pedicures until meeting them! I wanted to find a black-woman owned nail salon in the area. The place was neat, clean and trendy. The stylist, Jasmine was professional and ontime. An appointment is highly suggested, which was easy to make by calling the day before. This is my new spot! ~ Lauren W
